Many of us take up yoga or meditation looking for relief from stress and uncertainty.
Many studies have shown that these ancient teachings are remarkably effective at improving one's quality of life. What's more, these practices are often the gateway to an overall healthier lifestyle. I've seen many students over the years turn their life around by maintaining a regular yoga practice.
However, these ancient teachings are not always well adapted for the specific challenges of 21st-century life, particularly when it comes to overcoming the things we tell ourselves.
IFS sessions pick up where yoga and mindfulness practice often leave off.
In our practice, we catch glimpses of limiting beliefs, inner critics, and other unhelpful thought patterns, but yoga and meditation teachings lack the tools to help process that material.
Using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, I can help you uncover and process the roots of your hurtful inner dialogue so that you can lean into your life wholeheartedly.
Unlike packaged coaching programs that promise big results in a just a few weeks, I can't tell you how many sessions you'll need. Everyone's process is unique and much depends on your own internal system.
So that I can accommodate this kind of depth work, I only take on a few 1:1 clients at a time. If you'd like to try IFS-based mentoring, please get in touch and we'll schedule a time to talk about your interests and how I can help.
Are you a yoga teacher? I offer IFS-based mentoring just for teachers. Have a look.
