Yin, Yang, & Mindfulness

Explore the interplay of the energies of Heaven and Earth to cultivate ease and vitality throughout the body-mind while nourishing the quiet inner space where compassion and insight flourish. 

We’ll begin with a focus on the salient features of Buddhist mindfulness methods for fostering stability of attention and continuity of awareness.  Our asana practice will blend slowly flowing vinyasa movements with long-held yin postures that encourage mobility and stability, effort and ease, in service of balancing the sensitive energy body.  We’ll conclude our practice with heart-based methods for awakening the qualities of loving-kindness and compassion so that we may skillfully meet whatever arises.
